i need a vacation...
so this morning we woke up and i went to check the weather. yeah, thats right the temperature was -18 and then it said it felt like -34. yes, i am not kidding it is that cold. last night we got home about 10 pm and it was so cold that it hurt to breathe. the cold is bad, but it honestly has snowed like 10 inches every week since thanksgiving, no one really plows the roads, so needless to say i am sick of the weather. poor kyle, it is even too cold for him to play in the snow for more than like 2 minutes because his little fingers will freeze. i keep telling matt that if we are going to live here for the rest of his career we are going to need a time-share or something to break up the winters, i think Cabo San Lucus sounds good, or Puerta Vallarta would be nice too, ok honestly any where with no snow and i could wear 1 layer of clothing would be an upgrade. we'll see if that ever happens, but i have to go eat breakfast now!

Sorry Cortney! I feel your pain! Hey, we are coming back to Rexburg tomorrow, and Vegas is looking more and more like our best job option, so you know what I'm trying to say....that Alegiant Air that flys out of IF to Vegas for like $100 bucks round trip. :)
the way I look at it is for 90% of the calendar year, Rexburg is wonderful. No earthquakes either, so in my mind it is perfect. I know it is a bummer with Kyle not being able to get outside, but it won't be long and he will be swinging on his grandma "Deb-Deb's" swings in the park. Hang in there.
