Tractors and Tutus!

so i decided the other day that savannah needed her first tutu. so i went and bought a few things and made her this one. she actually loves it and looks so fancy, i love having a little girl.
it has also been really warm lately,so kyle has gotten to bust out his christmas present, which was a power wheels tractor. matt recently motified it, so it goes so fast. i think kyle gets mild whiplash every time he starts off. he is awesome at driving it too. yesterday he decided he wanted to wash it, so that is what the picture is.

i took this picture of kyle and savannah before church today. they are so dang cute!! we had a great easter. ( we did ours yesterday because matt had to work today) kyle also had a primary activity where they were called on missions. he went to russia. i have to admit i almosted teared up when we left him. i think the next 16years are going to fly by. sad. but he had so much fun. we also had the fire department's easter egg hunt, where kyle did not get any eggs. ( we showed up like 2 minutes late) the to top it off we went to a friend's birthday party,which was really fun, but i think i will post more about it tomorrow. so, happy easter to everyone from us!!

this is awesome!

so i found this, and i love it!! i think i fell in love with Jake Ryan when i was introduced to him by my cousin Liz (thanks!). if you dont know who he is, he is a super hot, cool, senior from the movie 16 candles. yes, we are pretty serious.

Fancy's new room!

matt and i have been talking for the last 6 months about how we wanted to paint savannah's room, and finally we did. i think it turned out cute!! i am not sure if you can tell in the picture, but it is a darker purple on the bottom. i also made a crib bumper, but thanks to kyle it did not even make it a month, so that is why there is nothing on the crib. i think i will take it apart and make cute pillow for when she moves into a big girl bed. i should also say that matt did 90% of the work, good work matt!

the tooth fairy dropped something off for Savannah!

so i dont know now many of you know, but kyle calls savannah "banna" and somehow that has turned into "banny".
the other morning i was talking to kyle and he was so excited that banny had a new tooth so i thought ya'll might be too.

so cute!! kyle about 1 1/2 and went through a phase of hanging out on the bottom shelf of our bookshelf. he is awesome!

i heart kilts

yesterday the iffd pipes and drums did a little show downtown, where they walked to several places and played for everyone to celebrate st. patricks day. i went and watched and had so much fun. every place they went people went nuts and cheered. matt played so well, and i was so excited to see how he did. my friend was a good sport and came with me. it was really fun. the link to the news picture is cool, but matt is hidden by the piper in the middle. and naturally i forgot my camera. also, just a little side note, it is so funny to see middle aged women go nuts over seeing the younger guys in their kilts. so funny!!
