the boys!

so i think i will update ya'll a little more on the boys. they are so funny!!
Matt is great. he just got switched to a different shift, so it is a change for him, but i think he likes it. i think he is fine anywhere as long as they let him put out fires and help people. he is so funny, he has not been working as much overtime this winter as he did in the summer, so he has been home more. which is nice for me, but probaley a little boring for him, but at least he gets sleep at home. the kids just love him and he and kyle are always playing together. he is the best person i know.
kyle is also great. he is working so hard on his potty training. he went the whole day today without any accidents, yea!! he is trying to go good, but he doesn't know when to tell us he has to go until its too late. but if i remind him, he does great. there is one downside to the potty training, he will not quit showing me his weiner, and touching it. honestly, i think he just has to keep tabs on it all the time. oh well, he is a boy.
so the boys are great, and are so funny. they are a realy great part of our family

our little fancy!!

savannah is getting so big. she is 6 months old now, which i cannot believe because it has gone by so much faster this time than it did with kyle. it makes me want to cry sometimes. but anyways, she is changing so much lately. she is getting a little chub chub on her and she can roll over. she is really close to sitting up and wants to be with me all the time. literally, she would nurse all day, every day if i would let her. But she does really love matt and kyle. i think she is learning that it will go a long way to be sweet to daddy. she is so sweet and cute. she looks just like kyle. ( i will definatley put up pictures as soon as i can, because she has changed so much since halloween) she also had a good christmas, she got fancy clothes and i made her bows to match every outfit!!also, today kyle was dancing for her and singing "shake your booty" and she was laughing so hard, the cutest little belly laugh. i loved it! it is cute how much she loves kyle, they are so cute together. it makes me so happy. they are awesome!

december!!

where to start...
i think i will start in december. matthew and i decided that we needed a small vacation to get away for a couple days, so we got a hotel and stayed in salt lake for a few days. the first morning kyle woke up at 4 am, and matt and i decided that is why parents get a seperate room for their kids. we saw the von guntens (family friends) who have so many kids running around, kyle had a blast. it was fun to take the kids to temple square and let them see where matt proposed (i think the sentiment was lost on them, they were hungry, tired and cold). it was nice to get away and get out of town.
next to come was christmas... oh, it was so fun this year. kyle was so excited and really got into all the traditions of the holidays. we made lots of treats and decorated our tree and he just loved it. he got to see Santa come in a fire truck to the fire station. it was so funny, santa comes into the bay at the fire station where everyone is waiting for him and kyle cannot contain himself and takes off. he ran over and jumped on santa's lap before he could even sit down. he quickly told santa he wanted a power wheels jeep. it was so cute. ( i do have a ton of new pictures but we lost our cord to upload the pictures, so sorry. i will put them up when i get a new cord.) i also put savannah on santa's lap and she was okay with it, because kyle was with her. christmas morning wa really fun, kyle got so many good toys, he just wanted to play with the first one, not open more. he did get his riding tractor power wheels. it is so cute, and he is getting really good at driving it too. he got lots of stuff, and told us the other night that he just wants to go to grandma's house for a beautiful christmas. maybe next year?!!

HALLOWEEN!!

we had a great halloween!! kyle picked out a bee costume for himself and a ladybug costume for savannah. they looked so cute! to make the day special, i started by making orange pumkin pancakes with green syrup for breakfast. then we had a scavenger hunt for kyle to find a box full of halloween surprises. (i got him a fireman toolkit, a latern for trick or treating and some halloween socks) he loved going from room to room looking for clues. he liked it so much, that i think i will have to do it again. kyle and savannah also got cute cards from grandma deb deb and grandpa, so thank you so much. (he will love to use the Mcdonalds $) later on we got the kids dressed and went to a part of downtown where they had some trick or treat staions set up. the line was like a mile long, so we decided to go to dinner close by. it was very yummy, and the kids were really well behaved. so, at dinner we decided to try to go to the "boo at the zoo", but the meltdowns began on the way. savannah was tired and hungry and sick of being a ladybug, so we just ended the night by taking kyle trick or treating in our neighborhood. he did so good, he would not say trick or treat, but he did say thank you to everyone. ( more important to say thanks i think anyways) he got lots of candy, and we had a great day!!

just a little bit of everything!!

things have been really crazy lately, so i am trying to make up with this post... i know i need to do better about blogging when things happen. so a few things that have been happening...
kyle turned 3!!!! i can't believe my little boy is 3. where has time gone? i still can't believe he has survived this long between having parents who have no idea what they are doing and the crazy things he gets into. well, this year matt was working on his birthday, so i decided not to have a party. matt had to do something for the induction ceremony of a new firefighter, so we went to watch him. they had a huge cake for the new guy, but i told kyle it was his birthday cake. he loved that all the firemen told him happy birthday. my mom sent kyle bday money, so we went and picked out toys. he got a rolling backpack with Handy Manny on it and a Backyardigans book that sings. he sang to that book for two days straight. so cute!! he also picked out sprinkles at the store and we made cupcakes to eat when matt got home the next day. i think kyle really liked having us sing happy birthday to him. he is so awesome!! we are so lucky to have him for our son!

savannah has been having a little bit of a hard time staying full on breast milk the past few days, so i decided to start her on rice cereal. she loves it!! she eats so good, and it seems to have helped her finally get on a good feeding schedule. she is getting so cute with chubby little cheeks. she is so sweet, and dang fancy!!!

roxy is the best toy we have ever gotten kyle. they have been wrestling hulk hogan style lately. kyle also loves to try to ride/cowboy her. its so funny. she sits when he tells her to, and he gets so excited. shes a really good dog, and is so patient with her little friend, kyle. also, roxy scares the heck out of savannah, ithink it has something to with roxy jumping into savannah's car seat on the way to the groomer a couple weeks ago. roxy is so cute with them though.
finally we got some family pictures done and these are some of kyle and savannah. kyle was so cute while we were doing them, he is so photogenic, i love it!!

kaptain kyle

kyle has recently gotten into super heros, so the other day he was asking for gear.( like he wanted to wear my puffy vest and my knee high boots) so i decided to make him this cape and mask. he is so funny, and loves being super-boy!
