so i guess i was tagged...

before i get my "tagged" answers, i have to tell everyone that Matt got a great job. he is the newest firefigher/paramedic for the Idaho Falls FD, which is so dang exciting!!
now to these questions:

1.where did i meet my husband?
at a dance at BYUI, it was very mormon of us. i bumped my roommate into him, because he was the only cute boy there.
2.where was our first date?
we were supposed to meet some people for a bonfire, but matt couldn't find them at the sand dunes, so we went to a movie.
3.what was the first thing i said to my husband?
hi, i am cortney, ( or something along those lines)maybe i said sorry for bumping my roommate into him, honestly i have no idea.
4.where was our first kiss?
on the lips
5.did we date for a long time?
not really, we were only engaged like 7 weeks or something
6.where did we get engaged?
by the Salt Lake temple, it was really cute, we always go stand were matt proposed
7.where did we get married?
the dallas texas temple
8.how did the reception go?
fine
9.how was the honeymoon?
good we went to Wisconsin, we didn't get cell phone reception which was nice

there has been a lot going on...

there has been so much going on since i last posted. we have been to California, back to Idaho for me to finish classes ( which i just found out that i got all A's and one B+) and now we are in Chicago. then we leave here on the 1st of august to go home to Idaho. matt has a golf outing with friends on the 7-8 th and i leave for Texas to see my parents on the 15th-21st. its going to be fun!!
anyways we are having so much fun here. kyle is definatley a two year old by the way he has started to act, but now he can say "please" so we make him say it on a regular basis. he is spending as much time as he can with Deb-Deb, and she acts crazy (does her little dance) and he laughs and covers his eyes because he is so embarassed. its so funny, and something we can all relate to. well, that is about it for now!! ( i will post pictures later)

Any Ideas??

hey everyone!! i just got called into the Relief Society Presidency and i am in charge of Enrichment. we want to do it on emergency preparedness ( both temporally and spiritulaly, so do ya'll have any ideas? we probaley will do mini-lessons on different topics like: financial planning, food storage, faith in times of need, etc.. so if ya'll have ideas for topics of activites especially drop me a note. this is a subject that i know nothing about,s o any help would be awesome!! everyone is good, we wil put new picts up soon of Big!!!THANKS!

Mother's Day!!

we had our first mother's day with matt present on sunday. it was nice having him there, because last year he was on his internship. kyle got me a bag of reese's mini cups and matt got me some knives. they are nice and i really needed them. also this weekend we took kyle to the zoo. he really loved it. he got so scared of the chickens in the petting zoo. it was so funny to watch him running away as fast as his little feet could go. also, we let him swim too. he loves to hold his breath and go under water. he is part fish i think. also, i need to put more pictures up, maybe tonight. school is good, i took my first french test yesterday, and i think that i did really well. also, it is midterms already. half way to being done. it is sorta exciting. well we are looking forward to California. it will be nice to get away. matt is also getting buff, which is a bonus!! hope everyone is good!!

doing good!!

so it has been a while since i updated my blog, so i figured i should actually do it.things are going really good. school is pretty good, i always have something to do, but it is pretty easy,so it does not take up too much time. it has been really nice out so we have gotten to take kyle out a lot and play.tonight we are getting a bunch of couples from our ward together to play sand volleyball, so that should be really fun. Matt is actually coming too, so that will hopefully make our team better because he is tall.we are also going to his friend's house for his birthday too, so we actually have plans on a weeknight. that is a big deal for us!! well i have to pay attention to mon classe de francais!!
