some new pictures!!!

Catching up...

i know that i have not updated my blog in a while, but i have not had to time to do anything besides the essential stuff lately. however today, savannah is sleeping and kyle is watching the backyardigans, so i thought i would catch everyone up on us. First of all, savannah is doing great. she is a very sweet baby, and a great eater. i feel like i am always nursing her, but that is okay because she is growing so well. she is getting better at night too, she was only up twice last night and went right back to sleep after her feeding. i am not going to complain about that. i can't even tell you how much fun i am having making every color bow for her hair and dressing her fancy. she is just so cute!!next is kyle, he loves savannah. ( almost a little too much sometimes) he is very eager to hold her and kiss her. he thinks she is "so cute and so little". he wakes up in the morning wanting to know where "banna" (he cannot say v's, so he says b's instead)is. he really enjoyed his time with grandma and grandpa, and asks when they are coming every once in while. he is really is such a cute little boy!! now, matt is great. i think he really enjoyed having time off when his parents were here but i also think he was glad to get back into his work routine. he had a really big wildfire last week, but missed out on a huge house fire, so i think he is kinda eager for some action at work. he is also so helpful to me. after my "incident" of hemmoraging he took care of EVERYTHING (with deb deb's help) and really was sweet. he also has been doing a lot to help me get extra sleep too, like getting up with the kids early in the morning so i can sleep through one feeding or staying up late. he is awesome, and so cute. lastly, i am doing better. i feel like i am finally getting my energy back. i still get a little dizzy running after the kids a lot, but i definatley feel so much better. i didn't nurse kyle, so i was not so sure i was going to be able to nurse savannah, but it is going great this time around. she makes it easy because she is such a good eater too. i thought that i would have has a major meltdown being home with the kids by myself, but i have done really well. my house is not as clean as i would like, but everything is good. i feel really blessed that i am feeling so good, and everyone has been so generous and caring with everything that happened and with the arrival of fancy.here are some new pictures!

SAVANNAH BELLE

our daughter Savannah Belle was born yesterday. she was 6 lbs 1 oz. and was 19 in. long. ( the exact same size as Kyle) She is fancy to say the very least. We all adore her. Kyle told us today that she is so cute, and he also asked if we could put her back in my belly. we really as blessed to have such adorable, sweet and healthy kids. So Labor was a little long, but everything went really well. i only had to push for like 10 minutes. it was nice. However this morning we had quite an emergency, i started bleeding horribly. i lost 2 liters of blood, and we were just terrified. My dr and all the nurses were really fast, and were able to finally stop the bleeding and get me back on track. i have never been so grateful to see matt walk in my room. ( he and deb went home to get some decent sleep since labor was so long) So all in all, very scary morning, but doing better. i will just have to take it really easy for a while. we are still in the hospital, but may be able to go home tomorrow or monday morning. well, here are some pictures of our little girl, grandma deb deb,kyle and matt.

the fourth of july!!

we went to see fireworks, and they were so good. kyle really enjoyed them, but fell asleep in the middle. he kept telling us they were rockets.he was such a trooper all day. it was a really fun fourth of july!!



matt was in the parade with the Honor Guard. he is the one in the very middle. he did so good. he was not suppose to smile, but he did kyle a little one at the end. kyle also got a little flag, which was a really big deal to him.

its getting close...

so everything is going okay with my pregnancy. i had a sorta scary day last friday, i went to the dr and my blood pressure remained high, i also have been measuring pretty small for how far along i am. so the dr. put me on bed rest for the weekend and had me do a urine protein test. (it was a huge like 1 1/2 gallon bucket, matt said it would not be big enough. he was going to get me a 50 gallon drum) on monday we went back and they did a non-stress test and an ultrasound. she looked so good. i was worried she was small, but she measured about 5 lbs. so that was very reassuring. my blood pressure is still high, so i have to stay down as much as i can, but kyle has been awesome, and made it easier for me. matt also has been cooking and cleaning. he is awesome and very cute. well, i have a funny little story. debbie told me to let kyle know that if he was really good and helpful until the baby came, they would buy him a basketball goal. he looks at me, like he was thinking about it and says " and a basketball?". i laughed so hard, it was like the basketball was the deal-breaker. well, i have to go. i will let everyone know if fancy comes.

Marathon Post

i should start off by apologizing for this long post, but i thought i would just get it all done in one shot. it has finally started to get nice here, so we have been outside playing so much. it is so nice to be able get out and play. it does make for a pretty dirty little boy though. for instance, tonight it was a combination of dirt and pudding. he has been so busy, it makes me tired. on saturday kyle and i went up to Rexburg for a little airshow that they have. it was so much fun. we brought a little picnic and just watched the planes. he loved that the trick planes had smoke, and they do tricks that look like they are going to crash. i think kyle was hoping that that the firetruck would be into action, but i explained that when planes crash it is not good. it was fun though. i have had several requests for new pictures of Roxy. she is getting so big, and very cute. she is doing much better with learning to behave like Dodger.(that is our goal) the last picture is of my 35 or so week belly. i can't believe how close it is getting to having her here. i had a dr. appt. last week and my blood pressure was high, this happened with kyle, but i was hoping it wouldn't happen with her. i am feeling good, just uncomfortable. i guess htat is to be expected at this point though. i also thought i would tell everyone about matt too. he is doing great. he had a good fire last week, so i got to see him on the news. it is always fun to see him. it makes me so proud, and reminds me how hard his job is.( it is not just ping pong and water fights) i also finally finished making the baby's bedding and covering her chair so i will take pictures as soon as i get the room set up. so all in all, we are good, and finally feeling summer.
